[ He has been making it a point lately, to try and read the more popular things he's heard mentioned around school. He knows it helps his grasp of the language and he needs that, but it aids Charlie too, giving them both more of a frame of reference when it comes to their school friends. It means they get to spend time together like this as well, and he cherishes that.

( Though April had suggested Fifty Shades of Grey and after a brief flick through in Waterstones, he has decided to never take her advice again. That one had been hastily pushed back onto the shelves. Instead he had picked a book about a musician and a cat in London. He thinks there is a movie, soon. )
